Allain 0. LeBlanc, 78, passed away after a lengthy illness at the Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton on Sunday, November 17, 1996. He was a retired employee of Air Canada in Halifax.

Allain LeBlancHe was born in Belliveau Village, Memramcook. on February 11, 1918, and was the son of the late Andre 0. LeBlanc and Salomé Bourque. He had been living in Belliveau Village for several years prior to his demise. He was a member of the Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation Parish in Pré-d'en-Haut and was also a member of the Club D'Age D'Or in Pré-d'en-Haut.

He is survived by his wife, Elmire (Belliveau) LeBlanc, and five children. Three daughters, Claudette (James) Spinks of Hoover, Alabama, Pauline LeBlanc of Belliveau Village and Paulette (Guy) Léger of Cocagne; two sons, Roméo (Susan) LeBlanc of Southington, CT., USA, and Bernard (Juliette) LeBlanc of Calgary, Alta; three sisters, Obéline (late Louis) Gaudet; Dorice (late George) Sharon both of Somers, CT., USA, and Andréa (Armand) Gaudet of Waltham, Mass., USA; one brother, Normand LeBlanc of Belliveau Village. He also leaves nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Oscar; and five sisters Laura, Irène, Carmelita, Aurise and Corinne: five brothers, Irois, Antoine. Alphé, Emery and Arsène.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home in Memramcook with Funeral service to be held at the Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation Church in Pré-d'en-Haut on Thursday, November 21, 1996 at 7 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in Pré-d'en-Haut.
